Casper Ruud - Dmitry Popko Tip (22.08.2017 - 20:00 GMT +2)
After the not very successful first game for the week where we tried to predict the game between Ernests Gulbis and Marton Fucsovics, now we are heading to the US Open qualifications as we can see that lots of interesting names are playing here. The first game which caught our attention was the game between two of the rising talents of the ATP tour - Casper Ruud and Dmitry Popko.
According to the bookies a little bit favourite for this game is Ruud but Popko has his chances as well. We believe that the young Norwegian is playing the best tennis in his career right now and it is just a matter of time to show his great potential. If he reaches the first round of the tournament here passing successfully all three rounds of the qualifications we believe he will get enough points and confidence to get into the top 100 players at the end of the year. He is just 18 years old and he is on the 110th position in the ATP rankings.
If he continues with the good performances during the year no one can stop him in getting and reaching a high place among the best 100 players in the world. Popko is a young Kazakhstan player. He is talented and ambitious as well but we hardly believe he will resist the Ruud power here. After all Ruud is having more successes despite his young age and we even think he will take the game in a straight sets.
