The new week is coming and the first tennis game we liked is between Sekou Bangoura and Reilly Opelka from the ATP Challenger in Charlottesville, USA. This week there is a Masters in Paris but for today, we cannot see any good games where we can make easy profit.
From this game, we are expecting Reilly Opelka to take the win with difference. He is definitely the better and more talented player. He is just 18 years old and he is very tall guy. Only using his service he can win this game. Sekou Bagoura is a good player for the ITF and Challengers but nothing more. For us, if Opelka is serving good he will definitely take this game. Bangoura may lead in the head to head games but they were play when Opelka was a child and now he is not a kid anymore.
Reilly Opelka did a terrible game against Maximilian Marterer 2-3 weeks ago when he was playing on the Challenger in Fairfield. Then he took a rest and this is going to be his first tournament since then. We believe that the game will be easy win for Opelka and the odds should not be like that.
A few days ago we wrote that the WTA Final tournament in Singapore is not that successful for us, but today there are only a few games from the ATP in Vienna and Basel and we hardly believe that we can choose something from there.
While in this game between Radwanska and Pliskova we are almost 100% sure that the game will be very matched. On these odds we will simply go for Pliskova to take a set because if she wants to go through the group stage she must only win the game, nothing else. Both players are with 1 win and 1 loss and the player who takes this game will go in the next stage. Radwanska looks better right now, maybe she will take this game but it will be very hard and the game for us is 50-50.
On these odds we are going for Pliskova to take a set, why not even to take the game. She is good player, she is having the best service in the WTA tour. Radwanska did not show a solid game against Muguruza and we can say that Muguruza lost the game because of the many unforced errors. We know that Pliskova has not won a single set against Radwanska but we believe that now is her time to do it.
Definitely the Final World WTA tour is not our competition for predictions as the first two games of there we did very wrong predictions, now we will stick mainly on the ATP picks where there are two great tournaments in Basel and Vienna.
The game for today is from the ATP in Vienna and it is between Joao Sousa and David Ferrer. Usually, David Ferrer is the better player and he is favourite for winning this game but Sousa is a very tough opponent and if he is in mood he has all the chances to take at least set here. Also Joao Sousa must defend 250 points because he won the title in Valencia last year. This season there is no tour in Valencia so this is his last chance to defend his points. David Ferrer is playing not very well recently and the Portuguese is having all the chances to take a set here.
The odds are pretty good and we will go for them definitely. There is one head to head game which is from 2013 in Kuala Lumpur and that game finished with a win of 2-0 for Sousa. We believe that here we are can see something similar one more time.
Very good catch yesterday between the players of Jurgen Melzer and Roberto Bautista-Agut. Now we will go for the final WTA tour again with another pick of Radwanska as we have already a good observations on how she is playing.
This time, we will not make the mistake to go for her as she is not looking very solid at the moment. Garbine Muguruza played very good against Pliskova but she lost a won match. Now she must take this game against Radwanska if she wants to keep her chances of qualifying to the next stage. It will be really hard but we think that if she forgets the game against Pliskova, she will go and smash Radwanska.
Muguruza to take a set is a good option, but we will go for her to win this game. The odds are too big and we believe that this is very matched game for this game. To take a set is staked at around 1.70 which is not that bad as well.
The ATP in Vienna this year is going to be one very interesting event. This is going to be the last ATP tour for this calendar season (if we exclude the final Master in London and the Master in Paris next week). Lots of good players are here to play their last games for the season and we are happy that we will have the chance to see some interesting battles.
The first game we liked for this week from this tournament is between the domestic Jurgen Melzer and Roberto Bautista-Agut. In this game the favourite for winning it is Roberto Bautista-Agut who was defeated last week from ATP Moscow from Bublik, who did a magnificent performance. Jurgen Melzer is definitely more serious than Bublik and we believe that he has all the chances to take something from this game. Moreover at home, Melzer is always playing with desire and passion and he has all the chances to take the game too.
Roberto Bautista-Agut looked exhausted and if he did not rest enough for the past week, believe us, Jurgen Melzer will smash him because on hard courts and moreover in Austria, he is different player. We will make the pick +4.5 Games on AH for Melzer but if you want go for +1.5 Sets AH too, it is even better on odds, but more risky.
The final World Tour in the WTA started and the first few games have been played already. There are two ATP tournaments so we will follow them, but for today, we would like to make a prediction from the final WTA tournament.
The game we are going to predict is between Agnieszka Radwanska and Svetlana Kuznetsova as it is first game from group white. The favourite for winning the group is exactly the Polish player but in the group are also the players Karolina Pliskova and Garbine Muguruza. Well the Spanish player is not in her best shape right now, while Pliskova is not that strong mentally. We think that with one 2-0 win for Radwanska she will make on 90% sure her first place, which will be her only aim for this tournament.
Svetlana Kuznetsova played a good tournament last week in Moscow. She won the title after she beat on the final Gavrilova but she had just a day to play the final and travel to Singapore. For us, she will not be 100% ready for this game and Radwanska who rested for more than week will take the game in straight sets.
