Finally, Wimbledon has come. The first game from this year’s Wimbledon which we are going to predict is between the players Sam Groth and Kei Nishikori.
There is no doubt that Kei Nishikori is the clear favourite for winning this game but we must say that on grass Sam Groth is one of the most dangerous players. He possess strong service and usually most of his games are going into deciding tie-breaks. It will be tough game for Nishikori but we think that he will manage to win it.
Samuel Groth will rely mainly on his service. His style is perfect for grass, because this is the fastest surface and it will suit very well with his service/net play. We think that Nishikori will have some troubles with the Groth’s service and we will not see a huge win for Nishikori.
Our second prediction for today is going to be again from Wimbledon and again from the Male scheme. The game we chose is between Daniel Evans and Jan-Lennard Struff.
Usually, Jan-Lennard Struff is the better player from both. But in this game, the favourite for winning it is the player from United Kingdom. We think that this is because the game is going to be played on grass and because Daniel Evans is a British. Anyway, the German is making very good season so far. We used to follow him in the last 2-3 games which he played on grass and he was pretty stable. Especially against Roger Federer he did a great game and we can say that he did not deserve to lose the game.
Against Daniel Evans it will be tough game but we believe that we are going to see him winning. In a format 3 out of 5 sets the advantage must be on the side of the German, so we will go after him. Moreover, the odds are better and he is the better player.
Gilles Muller is making amazing season on grass, after he was playing a final in Hertogenbosch, now he is on the road of reaching another final this time in Nottingham, United Kingdom.
But in order to reach the final he must face one very strong opponent in the face of Pablo Cuevas. Cuevas is one of the most dangerous players when it comes to clay but on grass he is not that good. Actually during the years Pablo Cuevas was skipping the tournaments on grass, but since he saw that he has the potential to make something more here he put this tournament in his calendar except the Major Wimbledon.
The game will be tough, because Cuevas is pretty strong server, just like Gilles Muller. We think that at least one of the sets will be with tie-break and if we see a tie-break the chances are 50-50. On such odds, we must try Cuevas to take a set at least.
Gilles Muller and Alexandr Dolgopolov are going to open the quarter-finals round of the ATP in Nottingham. So far the tournament proved that it is one of the best in Great Britain. There is no doubt that one of the favourites for the title may come from this couple.
Usually, Kevin Anderson is the player who is seeded as number one but they are also not that bad players who are not seeded. The seeded number two is Pablo Cuevas, but we think that he has no chances to make it to the final because he is not a grass player. Gilles Muller and Dolgopolov are pretty strong on grass and they have excellent style of play for such kind of surface.
In a game like that the chances are 50-50 but we are giving our support for Alexandr Dolgopolov. For us he is the better player and if he is playing serious he will win this game pretty easy. Gilles Muller is pretty much relying on his service and if his service is not going in, he has big troubles. We believe that Dolgopolov will surprise him and will take this game.
