Analysis

This week there are not going to be many professional tennis games. The only ATP tour is the Challenger in Quimper, France. There are some interesting games, such as the game between Jan-Lennard Struff and Federico Gaio.

We are expecting a tough and closed game at least the first set must be with many games. We believe that there is a high chance to see a tie-break here. The line for the games is not that big. It is just 18.5 games. This is pretty easy to be achieved.

Jan-Lennard Struff is the favourite but Federico Gaio is very experienced player and he won't give that game so easy. If the first service of Gaio is getting in, both will hold their service games easily. We are not excluding the fact to see 3 sets as well, but it is far way more optimistic compared to the games over line.

Analysis
The final of Sao Paulo clay, faces Pablo Cuevas and Pablo Carreno Busta for 4th time in their professional careers. So far, Cuevas leads the head-to-head series with 2-1 and is riding 9 back-to-back winning streak. He’s untouchable on clay this season, with current record of 10/1 and it makes a lot of sense that the Uruguayan is rated the big favorite. Meanwhile, Carreno Busta has split his last 10 duels into 6/4 and is 6/3 on clay for the season. The Spaniard is a strong player but Cuevas has mastered the clay court to perfection. Furthermore Cuevas is the reigning champion of Sao Paulo and that’s why we expect him to defend his title and also cover the handicap games line.

Analysis

After the raining beginning of the week in Sao Paulo, now it seems that the weather is almost nice to the tennis players and they successfully played their ⅛ finals games yesterday. We do not know what will be the forecast for today, but it seems that there are 60% chance for rain. This will definitely changed the favourites here. What we saw from the past days were that Carballes Baena is playing better when it comes to wet clay.

Pablo Carreno-Busta had a rough last weeks, when he was eliminated in the first rounds by Nadal, Thiem and Bellucci, respectively in Quito, Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro. Then he managed to take the first win after this bad serie against Albert Ramos Vinolas here in Sao Paulo, then he won against the other Spaniard Gimeno-Traver hardly in 3 sets and now he will face another Spaniard - Roberto Carballes Baena. Busta was very inconsistent in his last games, despite the wins. He is definitely starting to going in a shape but this won't happen in this tour.

Roberto Carballes Baena is a typical clay player. On clay he is really a dangerous player and he can beat anyone from his level. This year he is playing fantastic here in Sao Paulo. He eliminated the domestic favourite Joao Souza, then he was stopped in the final round of the qualifications but he was lucky enough to be picked as lucky loser and got into the main scheme of the tour. Then it was not hard to beat Taro Daniel in the first round and the surprise yesterday, when he beat the seeded number Thomaz Bellucci.

Well, Carreno-Busta is not from his level, but right now, in a form which is Busta, Carballes Baena has a huge chances of making the surprise. Of course, it will be really hard to happen, and this is the reason to think that this game can be in a three sets and Carballes Baena to steal one set from Busta.

Analysis
A game from ATP 500 in Dubai, UAE. It is between the players of Spain - Roberto Bautista-Agut and the Cypriot professional tennis player Marcos Baghdatis. We are expecting from the game a real battle and a lot of long rallies. What we saw previous days from Baghdatis was that he is having a really bad forehand these days. Yes, he reached the quarter-finals but this was because he had not a tough draw. In the first round he met Viktor Troicki which shape was terrible and then he met Vasek Pospisil, who was even worse than the Cypriot. Now this game, it will be much difficult for him. He is facing Bautista-Agut who have a title this year and this is his 5th quarter-final for the season. In our opinion the game will finish in straight sets with a routine win for Bautista-Agut. He is a player who is really hard-working and he is chasing each ball. As a former football player his footwork is brilliant and he covers the court all the time. Unfortunately, there are no head to head games. But we think that this will be no problem for him, if he is playing his usual style to make at least one break in each set. If so, there should be no problem to make 4 games difference. We are on the opinion that if the first set goes to Bautista-Agut, Baghdatis won't have any weapons to resist the Spaniard and will lose the second one as well with even more than one break difference.

Analysis
A clash from the 2nd round of Doha, between Safarova and Buyukakcay. Lucie Safarova is finally back on the court, as she suffered from a nasty bacterial infection that prevented her from participating at the Australian Open. She should be fully fit now, but her fitness is questionable, as she hasn’t played since late October and will definitely be a little rusty. Prior her illness, the Czech was in very poor form, winning just 4 of her last 10 duels. Meanwhile, Cagla Buyukakcay had a tough match against Lucie Hradecka in the first round of the tournament, defeating her with 6-4, 6-7, 6-2. However, the Turkish had a one full day for recovery, so she shouldn’t be fatigued for this clash. Those players have never met before and Safarova is rated the big favorite, but we expect a tight first set while she gets a grasp of the court.

Analysis
In the 1st round of Doha, hard, Pironkova and Errani will face each other for 3rd time in their careers. So far the series is tied to 1-1 among them, but what’s interesting to note here, is that all of the occasions, the games line has been easily cover. And that’s exactly what we aim for again here. Errani is coming here after she managed to win the title in Dubai, although she wasn’t among the favorites to do so. The Italian also has better overall stats at this surface, but Pironkova is enjoying 7 wins in her last 10 matches. However, the Bulgarian lost her last match to Strycova with 6-4, 6-3, whom Errani beat at the final of Dubai with 6-0, 6-2. And if we have to follow some reasonable logic here, Pironkova should lose 6-0, 6-0 today, but that’s highly unlikely in our opinion, because every match is different and individual, so you can’t draw a bottom line in the predictions.

Analysis
The final of Marseille, hard is finally here at the end of exciting week, and while Marin Cilic was among the favorites, Nick Kyrgios managed to upset the odds, overcoming strong players such as Gasquet and Berdych in straight sets. The Australian is yet to drop a set at this tournament and has been in fantastic form, with very powerful serve. Cilic also possesses amazing service and is very likely to see a tight first set here. The only head-to-head between this players, has been won by the Croatian back in 2013 at French Open with 6-4, 6-2, 6-2, however the progress of Kyrgios is more than visible and Cilic won’t have it easy today.
